This post is for all of you who have not been called--A Girl can only call so many people !!!!! When you have so many friends --and the situation is what it is you can't always remember everyone OK. So this it what has changed in our life in a moment..........
Monkey and I brought BD to the ER on Sunday Morning: complaint "the worst headache of my life" that's for all the medical peeps!
So after a "migraine cocktail" with no relief we had a Awesome PA with a gut feeling and ordered a CT scan of his brain without MD approval......ask for forgiveness later!!
A few minutes Later.....MD, RN, PA are all in the room to move us to a ICU type ER room. The very nigerian thick agent of the MD(resident) says" You CT does not look right" ........HUH, what, OOOOOK ---------Nurse mode insues. SO a BLEED, A MASS, WHAT--- TELL A SISTA SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!
ER Staff: Nuerosurgery has been call and we will scan your chest, abdomen and pelvis to search for other masses , then decide where to admit you!
Themama: OK
***the whole time MOnkey is sitting ever so patiently in his stroller WOW what a good boy--another nurse made a trip to the kids ER for some toys!! Yeah a really loud fire truck and etch a sketch!!
